Welcome back to school everyone and a special welcome to our new boys Emlyn, Robbie and Tee-Jay who appear to have settled in well and we are all enjoying their company. We have all settled into and are enjoying our new class, it feels like we have always been there.
This term our theme is 'Materials'; in Science we will be looking at the properties and uses of materials. In D.T. we will explore materials and make a textile tree. We will explore materials used in Roman times as this is our area of study in History. Our theme web and a letter will be sent home Monday giving more detail including P.E. days. P.E. kits should be brought in as soon as possible and can be left in school for the half term.
To link with our study of the Romans we have arranged a trip to see Horrible Histories Rotten Romans at the New Theatre in November. Please send in permission slips this weeks as seats have to be booked.
I'm sure we will have a busy term which will send us hurtling towards Christmas. If you have any concerns please contact me.
